The Story<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

To tell you who I am... I might have to start at home. I grew up in a very close-knit family. <\/p>\n

My father, Pau, was always curious and passionate about music. All kinds of music. And my mother, Tona, was in love with cinema. Especially musicals. With her, I watched Singin' in the Rain... almost a hundred times. And every time it was re-released in theaters, going to see it again was a celebration. Now, thinking about that coincidence makes me smile. <\/p>\n

Because that movie was about the transition from silent films to talkies... and about an actress whose voice needed to be dubbed. Without knowing it, perhaps cinema was already leaving a small sign on my path. <\/p>\n

As a child, I did a bit of everything: theater, chess, synchronized swimming... until I started choosing for myself. Contemporary dance. Physical expression. And, around the age of fifteen, theater. <\/p>\n

And it was precisely theater that led me, out of curiosity, to dubbing. Then came a stroke of luck. For over four years, I was able to attend recording sessions at a studio in Barcelona as an observer. I didn't have to do anything. Just listen. Observe. And learn from the best. <\/p>\n

Until one day, Lord of the Flies came along. And the director who had allowed me to shadow him in the booth during those four years gave me a child character. And then I discovered it. That was what I wanted to do. <\/p>\n

Then came Thumbelina, the eldest daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire... and shortly after, Son Gohan from Dragon Ball Z. Son Gohan will always be \u201cmy boy.\u201d At that time, no one could have imagined the impact that series would have, nor that so many years later it would continue to be a benchmark for several generations in Catalonia. He remains a very special character to me. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

But when something interests me... I need to keep exploring it. And another dream appeared. New York. <\/p>\n

I studied at the Gately Poole Acting Studio and for two years I had the privilege of regularly attending the Actors Studio. When I returned, it was hard to get back into the dubbing loop. But some directors noticed that something had changed in my acting. <\/p>\n

Little by little, new characters and new actresses arrived... Scarlett Johansson, Kerry Washington, M\u00e9lanie Laurent... Animation. Anime. Video games. Film. Television. Short films. And also advertising. <\/p>\n

Although advertising arrived, once again, by chance. After dubbing Scarlett Johansson in Lost in Translation, an advertising studio called me. They wanted to know if they could submit me for a casting. They did. I was selected. And that voice that had started behind characters also began to become part of the communication for major brands. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

And here Scarlett Johansson appears again. Because many years later, in 2020, I received the Retake Award for Best Voice Actress in Film for my performance as Scarlett Johansson's character in Marriage Story. A beautiful coincidence. The same actress. The same voice. And two very different moments in my career. First, a film that, without looking for it, opened a door to advertising. Years later, recognition for voicing her again. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

And there are experiences that, because they are so special, stay with you forever.<\/p>\n

I was the first woman to give a public reading of El Monte de las \u00c1nimas by Gustavo Adolfo B\u00e9cquer at the main event of the Festival de las \u00c1nimas in Soria. Until then, this reading had been in the hands of some of the great male figures of dubbing in our country. Years later, I also participated in the first three-voice dramatized reading. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

I have voiced literary stories, taken my first steps in directing, and shared what I've learned in MasterClasses. And since the beginning of laSexta, I have been its female station voice. Today, I continue to look for new challenges. <\/p>\n

Audiobooks have led me to perform complete stories, bringing both their characters and their narration to life. And I continue to observe with curiosity how Artificial Intelligence is transforming our profession and how to adapt to coexist harmoniously. <\/p>\n

Outside of work... that curiosity is also part of me. Animals, especially cats. Nature. Bonsai trees.
\nTraveling. Discovering other cultures. Looking toward the universe... and wondering about everything we still don't know. <\/p>\n

And music. Music remains essential to me. I've carried it with me since I was a child, and even today I need it when I work on a text. Sometimes music helps me find something that the words, on their own, haven't told me yet. And perhaps that's why, after so many years, I'm still doing something I learned long before I ever stood in front of a microphone. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
